  • Prohibits state and local governments from limiting or restricting the enforcement of federal immigration law (Sec. 4).

    • Inform the individual that they are being held in pursuit of a detainer request issued by an immigration officer.

  • Requires notified judges to record the notification of the presence of an immigration detainer to the court’s records regardless of whether the notice was received before or after judgement of the case (Sec. 8).

  • Prohibits employers from knowingly employing an undocumented immigrant, and establishes civil liability for violation (Sec. 11).

  • Specifies that this Act be effective July 1, 2026 (Sec. 1).
