Title: Prohibits Ranked Choice Voting
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits ranked choice voting in Indiana.
Specifies that ranked choice voting is defined as the following (Sec. 1):
Allowing voters to rank each candidate on a ballot for office in order of preference; and
Tabulate ballots multiple times following the elimination of a candidate until a single candidate receives the majority of votes.
Prohibits the use of ranked choice voting for the nomination and election of office in Indiana (Sec. 2).
Specifies that this Act is effective on July 1, 2026 (Sec. 1).
