Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that expands the scope of veterinary practices in California.

Highlights:

• Requires the seller of a dog, cat, or rabbit to provide a written notice to the purchaser of the animal that states all of the following information (Sec. 1):

• The original source of the animal, including the breeder and the state that the animal was born in;

• A record of the inoculations, if any, to the animal; and

• A record of any other veterinarian treatment or medication received by the animal.

• Prohibits the inclusion of nonrefundable debosits in contracts entered to transfer ownership of an animal (Sec. 1).
