Title: Establishes the Ohio Israel Trade and Innovation Partnership
Vote to pass a bill that establishes the Ohio Israel Trade and Innovation Program.
Establishes the Ohio Israel Trade and Innovation Partnership to study the potential means of advancing the following (Sec. 1):
Bilateral trade and investment between Ohio and Israel;
Policy issues of mutual interest to Ohio and Israel;
Business and academic exchanges between Ohio and Israel;
Mutual economic support between Ohio and Israel;
Mutual investment in the infrastructure of Ohio and Israel;
Specific industries, emerging technologies, and innovation clusters that warrant support from Ohio and Israel;
Multilateral partnerships between Ohio, Israel, and other nations regarding the above; and
Other issues as determined by the partnership.
Specifies that the partnership shall consist of the following members (Sec. 1):
Three senate members appointed by the president of the senate;
Three house of representatives members appointed by the speaker of the house; and
Eight members appointed by the governor.
Requires the partnership to issue an annual report of its activities from the preceding year, and any associated findings and recommendations (Sec. 1).
