Title: Requires Teaching the Success Sequence Curriculum to Students
Vote to pass a bill that requires teaching the Success Sequence curriculum to students in Ohio.
Defines success sequences as a 3-pronged framework for youth and young adults based on research from institutions that individuals who complete high school, obtain full-time work, and marry before having children are less likely to live in poverty in adulthood (Sec. 3301.0717).
Requires the Department of Education to develop a curriculum about the success sequence from grades 6-12 (Sec. 3301.0717).
Requires the creation of a committee made up of school district board members and parents of students enrolled in that school district to revise the curriculum. (Sec. 3301.0717).
