Highlights:

• Requires the Department of Workforce Development to cooperate with the federal government to carry out the purposes of the federal Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act of 2014 (Sec. 2).

• Authorizes local workforce development boards to compile resources regarding job support services in anticipation of large layoffs (Sec. 2).

• Requires any state agency or authority that operates a workforce development program or activity to track and report on the performance of the program using all of the following metrics (Sec. 3):

• The percentage of program participants who are in unsubsidized employment during the 2nd and 4th quarter after exiting the program;
