Title: Expands Eligibility for Streamlined Mixed-Income Housing Developments
Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that expands eligibility for streamlined mixed-income housing developments in California.
Specifies that a local government’s review of a site to determine whether it is eligible for streamlined, ministerial review for affordable or mixed-income housing developments is limited to the area described as being physically disturbed by construction (Sec. 3).
Specifies that easements for public right-of-way, public or private utilities, or other public improvements in, under, or over the property does not make the property ineligible to receive ministerial review for affordable or mixed-income housing developments (Sec. 5).
Expands the eligibility for streamlined, ministerial review for mixed-income housing developments to include developments located in a campus development zone (Sec. 6).
Specifies that the requirement for mixed-income housing developments that all parking shall be set back at least 25 feet only applies to parking that is above ground (Sec. 8).
