Title: Repeals Citations for Liquor Stores That Violated COVID-19 Protocols
Vote to pass a bill that repeals citations for liquor stores that violated COVID-19 protocols in Pennsylvania.
Requires the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board or the enforcement bureau to expunge citations issued to a retail licensee in relation to any of the following that were issued during the Governor’s Proclamation of Disaster Emergency on March 6, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic (Sec. 1):
A proclamation or order of the Governor which relates to COVID-19;
An order of the Secretary of Health which relates to COVID-19; or
Guidance issued by the Department of Health or the Department of Human Services which relates to COVID-19.
Specifies that the Board or enforcement bureau must expunge any citation it issued as described by the previous paragraph at no cost to the licensee within 30 days of the effective date of this paragraph, and provide notice of expungement to the licensee (Sec. 1).
Defines “retail licensee,” for the purpose of this Section, as a person that holds a hotel license, a restaurant liquor license, an eating place retail dispenser license, a club license, or a catering club license (Sec. 1).
Specifies that this Act takes effect immediately upon passage (Sec. 2).
