Title: Requires New York Municipalities to Develop Emergency Medical Service Plans
Vote to pass a bill that requires New York Municipalities to Develop Emergency Medical Service Plans.
Requires each county to develop a comprehensive county emergency medical system plan that describes how emergency medical services would be provided for all residents of the county, and a plan with cost estimates for increasing services where it is needed (Sec. 1).
Requires each county, city, town, and village to work together to specify which entity or entities will be utilized for providing emergency medical services and how costs for such services will be assigned (Sec. 1).
Requires plans to be completed within six months of the effective date of this Act and submitted to the Department of Health (Sec. 1).
Specifies that this Act takes effect upon passage (Sec. 2).
