Vote to override a veto of a bill that requires mobile food vehicles to comply with the most current state fire codes in Oklahoma.

Highlights:

• Requires all mobile food preparation vehicles operating in Oklahoma before July 1, 2024, to comply with the most current adopted fire code, except for automatic fire extinguishing systems, as long as portable extinguishers are installed per NFPA 10 standards (Sec. 1(A)).

• Requires all mobile food preparation vehicles that use liquefied petroleum gas to receive and maintain a permit and undergo annual inspections by the Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum Gas Administration, including a specific operation decal from the State Fire Marshal for mobile food preparation vehicles (Sec. 1(B)). 

• Establishes that mobile food preparation vehicles are under the jurisdiction of the State Fire Marshal for fire and life safety compliance, with (Sec. 1(D)):
