A vote to pass a bill that appropriates funding to the Department of Education to create a grant program allowing eligible teachers and school support staff to purchase school and classroom supplies in Nevada.

Highlights:

• Appropriates $15 million to the Nevada Department of Education to create a grant program for classroom and school operation supplies (Sec. 1.1).

• Limits the appropriated funds to $7.5 million for the Fiscal Year 2025–2026 (Sec. 1.2).
