Vote to amend and pass a bill that requires cities and counties to allow multifamily housing, mixed-use developments on commercially zoned properties in Nevada.

Requires each governing body of a county or city to adopt an ordinance that authorizes by right a multifamily housing development or mixed-use development that includes a residential use on property zoned for commercial use (Sec. 1).
Specifies that any ordinance, regulation or rule of a county or city that conflicts with the provisions of this bill is void (Sec. 5).
Establishes an exception to account for the requirement that the governing body of a county or city adopt an ordinance to authorize by-right a multifamily housing development or mixed-use development that includes a residential use on property zoned for commercial use (Sec. 4).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 6).
