  • Establishes a missing indigenous person alert system in Arizona (Sec. 1).

  • Authorizes the creation of a new Turquoise Alert System under the Department of Public Safety, if the following conditions are met (Sec. 1):

    • The missing individual is under the age of 65; and

    • Law enforcement agencies investigating the missing person report has used all available resources and determined that the individual has gone missing under unexplained or suspicious circumstances and is in danger or in the company of a potentially dangerous individual.

  • Specifies that once activated at the request of a law enforcement agency investigating a missing person, the alert would distribute notifications statewide (Sec. 1).
