• Defines the remains of an aborted unborn child to mean the physical remains of an unborn child at any stage of gestation whose life has been terminated by an elective abortion (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits a healthcare facility at which an elective abortion has been performed from depositing or disposing of the remains of an aborted unborn child in a manner other than stated in this section (Sec. 1).

• Requires a healthcare facility at which an elective abortion has been performed to provide for the individual disposition of the remains of the aborted unborn child by cremation or interment, by burial, or, if not possible, as directed by the Board of Health (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the method of disposition shall not be required to be given to a woman for whom the abortion was performed (Sec. 1).
