Vote to pass a bill that limits and restricts the types of food that can be purchased with SNAP benefits in Iowa.

Requires the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services to seek a federal waiver to implement the restrictions (Sec. 1-2).
Authorizes a $1 million appropriation for the Double Up Food Bucks program, but specifies that the funding is contingent on federal approval of the SNAP waiver (Sec. 1-2).
Authorizes the state to request a federal waiver that would restrict what products Iowans can buy with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) dollars (Sec. 1-2).
Authorizes the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services to request a federal waiver that limits the foods available to SNAP recipients to "only include healthy foods and beverages based on necessary nutrition for good health," including but not limited to (Sec. 1-2):
Healthy grains;
Dairy;
Meat;
Eggs;
Peanut butter and nuts;
Pasta, rice, legumes; and
Fruits and vegetables.
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 3).
