Vote to pass a bill that prohibits transgender girls from playing on female sports teams in Georgia.

Highlights:

• Prohibits transgender girls from playing on female sports teams in Georgia (Part II, Sec. 2-1).

• Amends various titles of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated to specify (Part II, Sec. 2-1): 

• For separate restroom and changing areas for males and females in schools;

• Sleeping arrangements on school trips to be made according to sex;

• Requires certain athletic activities to be designated either for males, females, or coeducational (Part II, Sec. 2-1).

• Prohibits males from participating in certain athletic activities designated as being for females (Part II, Sec. 2-1).

• Requires schools be protected from complaints for compliance with statutes (Sec. ).

• Establishes definitions throughout the Official Code of Georgia Annotated for certain terms relating to sex (Part II, Sec. 2-1).

• Requires any collector of vital statistics throughout this state to identify each individual as either male or female and replace the term "gender" throughout the Code with "sex" (Part II, Sec. 2-1).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor and any previous legislation in conflict with these provisions shall be repealed (Part VI, Sec. 6-1).
