Highlights:

• Requires public and school libraries to remove explicit content from main areas of the library and move them to areas “not easily accessible” to minors (Sec. )6s.

• Requires a review process at libraries for the removal of content and specifies that if an individual is dissatisfied with the outcome of that review, the bill establishes an avenue to petition the local state’s attorney to investigate (Sec. 6).

• Specifies that libraries would have 10 days to comply if a violation is found and that state funding could be withheld from a library found in violation (Sec. 6).
