Vote to pass a bill that authorizes private school vouchers for educational savings accounts in North Dakota.

Highlights:

• Appropriates $3 million per year in funding to educational savings accounts to provide every North Dakota K-12 student with $500 to use toward educational expenses such as (Sec. 1): 

• Private school tuition,

• Tutoring;

• Textbooks;

• School meals;

• Mental health services; and

• Educational camps, 

• Specifies that private school students who meet household income limitations could be eligible for up to $3,500 and homeschool students would each receive $500 in their accounts (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect beginning July 1, 2025 (Sec. 2).
