Title: Requires Schools to Take Cash as Payment for School Events
Vote to pass a bill that requires schools to take cash as payment for school events in South Dakota.
Requires that a qualifying school which refuses to accept a cash payment for an individual for admission to a school-affiliated event on the day of the event, must grant that individual admission to the event without charge if one of the following (Sec. 1):
The amount of cash is sufficient to pay for the admission fee; and
That seating for the event is available.
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 2).
