Vote to pass a bill that amends the timeline for minimum wage increases in Michigan.

Highlights:

  • Amends the minimum wage increases effective February 21, 2025, to the following amounts (Sec. 1-8):

    • $12.48 starting February 21, 2025;

    • $13.75 starting January 1, 2026; and

    • $15 by January 1, 2027 (Sec. ).

  • Reduces the minimum wage increase for tipped workers to the following amounts  (Sec. 1-8):

    • 38% starting February 21, 2025;

  • Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall not take effect unless H.B. 4002 is approved and signed by the Governor as well (Sec. 10).
