Vote to pass a bill that requires that the board of a school district or ISD, the board of directors of a public school academy (PSA, or charter school), or the governing body of a nonpublic school adopt the MSP standardized terminology in Michigan.
Requires that the board of a school district or ISD, the board of directors of a public school academy (PSA, or charter school), or the governing body of a nonpublic school adopt the MSP standardized terminology in Michigan beginning in the 2026-2027 school year (Sec. 1308d).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor and simultaneous passage of H.B. 4096 as well (Sec. 1308d).
