Vote to amend and pass a bill that requires a state educational institution (institution) to disclose certain foreign gifts and contracts received or entered into after December 31, 2020 in Indiana.

Highlights:

• Requires the commission to establish and maintain a website for public access of information concerning gifts and contracts disclosed by state educational institutions (Sec. 1).

• Requires state educational institutions to disclose any gift received and contract entered into directly or indirectly from any foreign source located in a foreign adversary (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits state educational institutions from transfering, licensing, or subleasing intellectual property developed using state resources to a business entity organized under the laws of a foreign adversary (Sec. 5).

• Prohibits state educational institutions from using any state resources to do the following (Sec. 8):

• Engage or contract with an individual associated with a foreign terrorist organization; or

• Support the activities of a foreign terrorist organization.
