Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that amends the compulsive gaming prevention fund in Michigan.

Highlights:

• Amends the compulsive gaming prevention fund in Michigan by appropriating at least 10% of the state lottery advertising budget but not more than $2 million from the state general budget for the compulsive gaming and prevention fund (Sec. 3).

• Requires the compulsive gaming prevention fund be distributed as determined by the director of the Department of Health and Human Services to be used exclusively for the treatment, prevention, education, training, research, and evaluation of pathological gamblers and their families and to fund the toll-free compulsive gaming helpline number (Sec. 3).
