Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that appropriates funding for the fiscal year 2024-2025 state budget in California.

Highlights:

• Appropriates $500,000 for the BRIDGE program (Sec. 4). 

• Transfers money from transfer by the Controller to the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank Fund (Sec. 5). 

• Appropriates $14 million for the ICARP Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Grant Program (Sec. 9).

• Appropriates $1 million for the Trinity County Fire Chiefs Association for fire, rescue, and emergency medical services equipment and related expenses in Trinity County, including, but not limited to, radios, medical equipment, and extrication equipment and $2,000,000 shall be provided to the City of Hayward for Fire Department station upgrades (Sec. 14).

• Appropriates $2 million shall be available for the City of Long Beach for improvements to Hudson Park. (Sec. 29). 

• Appropriates $5 million from the California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection, and Outdoor Access For All Fund for Sierra Nevada Conservancy Purposes (Sec. 34).
