Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that authorizes hospital violence prevention, training, and security plans to provide a framework for statewide violence prevention and workplace safety plans, training, and reporting standards in Ohio.
Authorizes hospital violence prevention, training, and security plans to be established by the state Attorney General within 6 months of the passage of this bill to provide a framework for statewide violence prevention and workplace safety plans, training, and reporting standards in Ohio (Sec. 1).
Establishes and grants legal immunity to individuals who kill, injure or damage property with a concealed handgun in self-defense or to protect people while at a house of worship or on other property owned by a nonprofit (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 4).
