Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that amends K-12 Education Statutes and establishes purple star school district programs in Florida.

Highlights:

• Specifies that an annual application for exemption on property used to house a charter school is not required (Sec. 1). 

• Requires the owner or lessee of such property to notify the property appraiser in specified circumstances (Sec. 1). 

• Establishes the Office of Ocean Economy within the State University System to be housed at Florida Atlantic University (Sec. 1).
