Title: Amends California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018
Vote to pass a bill that amends the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018.
Defines “Fine-tune” (Sec. 4).
Specifies that a developer shall not be required to obtain affirmative authorization if both of the following conditions are met (Sec. 8):
Training or fine-tuning an artificial intelligence system or service using the consumer’s personal information is necessary to protect the consumer from imminent threats to their physical health or safety; and
The developer deidentifies and aggregates the personal information of the consumer prior to training or fine-tuning an artificial intelligence system or service.
