Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that authorizes certain offices in Louisiana to hold closed party primary elections and also amends other election codes.

Highlights:

• Defines terms related to political party primaries in Louisiana (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that All qualified voters of this state may vote on candidates for public office in general elections without regard to the voter's party  affiliation or lack of it, and all candidates for public office who qualify for a general election may be voted on without regard to the candidate's party affiliation or lack of it (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that recognized political parties shall make nominations of candidates for party primary office as provided in this Part (Sec. 1).
