  • Appropriates $547,513,000 from the General Fund to the Superintendent of Public Instruction for purposes of the A–G Completion Improvement Grant Program to provide additional supports to local educational agencies to help increase the number of California high school pupils (Sec. 1). 

  • Requires a comprehensive school safety plan of a school district, county office of education, or charter school to include an instructional continuity plan to establish communication with pupils and their families and provide instruction to pupils when in-person instruction is disrupted due to an emergency such as an earthquake (Sec. 1).
