Vote to pass a bill that requires cities to allow more residential development on commercially zoned land in Arizona.

Highlights:

• Authorizes larger mixed-purpose development in urban areas (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that municipalities can impose restrictions on a new structure being developed into a residential or mixed-use development including (Sec. 1): 

• Maximum height of 2 stories;

• Maximum length of 90 feet; 

• Maximum width of 40 feet;

• Minimum building separation of 10 feet; and

• Setbacks of up to 5 feet.
