Establishes the Shalom Act to define antisemitism into state law as the working definition of Antisemitism adopted by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance on May 26, 2016 (Sec. 1).
Prohibits this bill from being construed to diminish or infringe upon any right protected under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution or the Constitution of North Carolina (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 3).
